Call for Research Spotlights:

The Canadian Studies Network-Réseau d'études canadiennes is expanding opportunities for graduate student networking and research promotion. As part of this initiative, a new page will be added to the website that spotlights graduate student research. The network is seeking write-ups of graduate student research-related activities and/or projects to be featured in the coming months. This may include a description of your MA or PhD thesis, an article you are working on for a journal or an edited collection, a recent or forthcoming chapter, or a conference presentation. The parameters are flexible,so please reach out with any questions about a potential project or activity.

The write-up should be a maximum of 500 words, and must be accompanied by a brief author bio that tells readers a bit about the researcher(s). Images and weblinks related to the submission are welcome and bilingual texts are encouraged. The write-ups will appear on the website and be circulated on social media. Submitting a write-up offers a great way to practice distilling your researchin an accessible way for a broad audience, and provides the potential for members to establish interesting research connections and contacts.
