*Dr. Patrick Denice is looking for a research assistant to help with his research project. The Research Assistant (RA) will have familiarity with quantitative data analysis in Stata and R, especially (1) the recoding and merging of datasets, (2) the running of descriptive statistics and regression models, and (3) the graphical presentation of results. In particular, the RA will be responsible for downloading, cleaning, and merging data into large datasets. This project provides an opportunity for an RA to familiarize themselves with multiple sources of publicly available data, including the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the COVID-19 School Data Hub, and NCES's School Courses for the Exchange of Data (SCED). The RA will also have a chance to learn new methods and tools for analyzing data, including text mining and cluster analysis.
